On behalf of my Global Pharmaceutical client, they are in search of a Project Risk and Compliance Specialist to join them on a 12-month contract, starting December 1, 2024. This role is remote-friendly, with occasional travel to Prague (expenses covered)

About the Role:

In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring compliance across high-impact projects within the Human Capital Management (HCM) program. Your focus will be on SOX controls in IT, Finance, and People & Operations, with a specific aim to bolster system security and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compliance Risk Analysis & Control Design
• Conduct in-depth risk analysis related to compliance across finance, IT, and HR for multiple go-live projects.
• Ensure that critical SOX controls are designed, documented, and approved before each project's launch.
• Oversee Workday configurations, reporting, and documentation to support compliance.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Collaborate with teams across IT, Security, People & Operations, Finance Reporting & Analytics, and Finance Controls & Compliance.
• Collect and consolidate inputs to provide comprehensive insights into project risks and compliance.
• Issue Reporting & Follow-Up
• Proactively track and report any new compliance risks or issues until resolution.
• Support updates to SOX control frameworks as required.
